For any commercial use—whether the track is released independently or via a major label—sample clearance is required prior to release.

Production & Composition Share

In the event of a commercial release or placement (e.g., artist releases, sync licensing, or publishing usage), the sample creator is entitled to:

  • 50% of the producer and composition shares

  • Participation in publishing, master royalties, sync fees, and advances

  • Clearance and approval by the creator must be obtained before release
